New Resource!

HELPS - Connecting Seniors to Steele County Resources

Are you a Senior or Caregiver to an aging parent or love one looking for help and don't know where to start? At Healthy Seniors of Steele County, our goal is to provide services and support to keep seniors safely living while at home.


HELPS {Helping Elderly Live Proud & Safe}

Assessment Tool does just that by creating a personalized resource list with helpful resources in Steele County.


Get Started by going to www.hsschelps.org. After answering 5-6 short questions, you will receive a list of resources tailored to your situation. We have included our most commonly requested topics of concern for our aging population, to keep them safely living well at home.


This initiative is part of the company comprehensive communication platform to promote services in Steele County. It is funded in part by The Mardag Foundation.



Healthy Seniors of Steele County is hosting Educational meetings to Learn more about this new and exciting resource. Each of the following meetings take place in the Gainey Room at the Owatonna Public Library.


• Thursday, October 11 from 11:00am - 12 noon

• Tuesday, October 16 from 7:00PM - 8:00PM

• Thursday, November 8 from 11:00AM - 12 noon

• Tuesday, November 20, from 7:00AM - 8:00AM


We will be holding information meetings in Spanish for Spanish Speaking Seniors and Caregivers during those times in the Conference Room next to the Gainey Room.
